Product Review: Mega Food Kids Nutrient Boosters
As a mom of kids with multiple food allergies, I often tend to ask myself if my children get all the necessary vitamins and minerals they need to grown up healthy. Since I had to remove items with wheat, dairy, egg, soy, tree nuts, peanuts and sesame from their diet, I can’t help being extra concerned about their nutrition.
Yes, I try my best to give them meals with a variety of healthy ingredients. However, I am pretty sure my kids don’t get all the recommended daily allowances of vitamins and minerals they need. That is why rely on supplements to fill the gap brought about by their food restrictions.

For the test, I added a scoop of the powder to 6 oz. of apple cider and gave a concoction to each child. First thing I noticed was that, the powder doesn’t dissolve quickly to cold drinks. It took quite some stirring to remove the lumps and have it fully integrated to the cider.
Since the Nutrient Boosters didn’t contain sweeteners, flavorings and added thickeners, the kids all agreed that it didn’t affect the normal taste and texture the cider. I’ve also tried the powder in other liquids like juices and smoothies. The results are also the same. There’s also very minimal after taste which the kids say were acceptable.
With the versatility of Mega Food Nutrient Boosters, I have to say, it is a good vitamin and mineral supplement to have on hand. With some creativity, us moms, would be able to easily “sneak” these health boosters to our picky kids.
